Becoming a Bebat collection point is free of charge and easy. This way, you too can contribute to nature.
Who can become a collection point?
Stores
As a point of sales for (devices with) batteries, you have a number of legal obligations, including the take-back obligation: the obligation to accept returned used batteries. If you become a Bebat collection point, we will help you meet your obligations.
Companies
Companies that use a lot of batteries must also hand them over for processing in the correct manner. By becoming a Bebat collection point, we ensure that you legally comply with this obligation. You can also become a collection point from an ecological standpoint.
Schools
Bebat developed a special collection programme for schools. For every kilo of batteries collected, you receive one loyalty point as a school. With these loyalty points, you can purchase admission tickets or coupons through our MyBebat webshop.
Recycling centres
All kinds of waste end up in a recycling centre, including batteries of all shapes and sizes. Therefore, you can always find a Bebat collection unit there.
How can you become a Bebat collection point?
You can become a Bebat collection point in 4 simple steps:

We will evaluate your application and contact you to complete your registration, if you meet our conditions.

If necessary, one of our colleagues will come and visit you. This way, we can determine which collection materials are best suited for your situation.

We provide the free collection materials and from then on, you are officially a Bebat collection point! You can now start collecting batteries.
What do we expect from you as a Bebat collection point?
Bebat assists you as a collection point to safely and correctly collect used batteries. In return, we ask the following of you:
- You place the Bebat collection unit in a highly visible, easily accessible location in your store, company, or school, and manage it in good faith.
- When the collection unit is nearly full, you request a free pickup. Bebat will then come to replace it for free within 5 business days. Does your collection unit have a telemetry system? Then the pickup will be scheduled automatically for you.
- You ensure that your collection unit remains tidy and clean. As much as possible, you ensure that no other waste ends up with the batteries.
Which batteries are we talking about?
Bebat provides a solution for all types of batteries. Depending on the type of organization you are as well as your needs as a collection point, you're allowed to collect different types of batteries. As a collection point, you cannot decide this yourself.
Schools
may only collect undamaged household batteries that fit into the circular openings of their collection unit.
Stores
can collect undamaged small and medium-sized batteries from household appliances - ranging from AA batteries to laptop batteries.
Companies
usually collect batteries related to their business activities.
Recycling centres
form the place where all kinds of batteries are welcome, from small button cells to large bicycle batteries, as well as damaged, leaking, or swollen batteries.
Different types of collection materials
Bebat has various types of collection materials. Depending on the type(s) of batteries you collect as well as the quantity, we will determine which collection material is most suitable. The collection units we provide are all inspected and tested, and meet all required standards.
