Different methods are available to collect and recycle used lithium-ion starter batteries and used lead starter batteries. In case of authority inspection, members must be able to present the required certificates documenting that the proper procedure was followed in turning in their batteries for recycling. Be sure to request these certificates from the waste battery collector.
