Where can I find recycling bags?
Any Bebat collection point dispenses collection bags. Twice a year you will find a battery recycling bag or recycling box in your mailbox. You didn't get your bag? You're out of recycling bags? Then order new ones here.
Where can I hand in my bags?
Bebat operates more than 24.000 collection points where you can hand in your used batteries. Want to find a collection point near you? Look it up here or use our practical Recycle! app.
Can we visit Bebat?
Primary schools can make an appointment to take our interactive visitor tour Villa Pila. Check the schedule here. Individuals can visit us during the open day on 2nd October.
What battery types can schools collect?
Schools are only allowed to collect domestic batteries. Batteries from companies or batteries from industrial or military origin cannot be collected at school. To ensure the safety of schools and children, Bebat only collects domestic batteries.
Can students and individuals visit Villa Pila?
Our interactive visitor tour is tailor made to pupils from 9 to 12 years old. As of yet, no tour is available for adults or older students.
Do you also collect ink cartridges?
Bebat works for a better environment by collecting used batteries.
Do the winners get to collect their prizes?
The prize draws for our tombola take place once a month in the presence of bailiff Luc Vandermarliere. All winners are notified personally and their names are published on our website and facebook page.
What happens when the campaign printed on the recycling bags is over?
As of 2016, no more campaigns will be listed on the recycling bags. The current campaign and prizes can always be consulted on our web page. If you still have some older recycling bags at home you can definitely use them and you will automatically take part in that month's campaign.
Are there any actual winners?
The number of winners varies from one campaign to the next. Every month, the names of the winners are announced on our website and Facebook page.
